Axonius 2025 Customer Rewind: A year defined by better outcomes through asset intelligence

Rob Casselman

Chief Customer Officer, Axonius

Every year, I get a front-row seat to watch our customers push the industry forward.

We talk a lot about driving better business outcomes through actionability and building systems that help teams move faster with confidence. But none of that happens in a vacuum. It happens because customers pressure-test our ideas and show what’s possible when you have a trusted picture of your environment.

As Matt Durant, Sr. Director of Cybersecurity & Risk Management at BlueLinx, put it best: “Axonius has become one of the most valuable tools in our security stack. It’s not just about asset management anymore. It’s about having the clarity and control to actually drive our security strategy forward.”

That clarity and control is what fuels our work. And with 2025 coming to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on the people who shape everything we build: our customers.

How our community evolved in 2025

This year, we welcomed hundreds of new customers into our community, and we now serve more than 100 Fortune 1,000 companies. We’ve had more opportunities than ever to meet teams where they are—from our CTRL/ACT virtual event, to the Axonius Adapt conference and roadshows, to the unplanned hallway conversations that spark the best ideas. Technology drives outcomes, but progress comes from the people willing to share what they’re learning every day.

At CTRL/ACT, we heard from Joanne Scott, Senior Security Analyst for the City of Los Angeles, on how her team uses Axonius to gain visibility across 87,000+ assets and stay ahead of emerging threats.

2025 brought new customer connections in every major region—from North America to EMEA, LATAM, and APAC—and in industries including manufacturing, government, healthcare, finance, business services, and energy. Yet across all of these regions and sectors, every team is wrestling with the same fundamental question:

“Do we truly know what we have, and can we act on it fast enough?”

No matter the industry or environment, our customers share a common need for a complete, trusted picture of their assets and exposures. Once teams have that truth, they can make better decisions and build stronger foundations for the future.

The impact our customers created this year

2025 was defined by outcomes. And those outcomes tell the real story.

In the Forrester Total Economic Impact™ study commissioned earlier this year, organizations using our platform uncovered 150% more assets than they previously knew existed, finally seeing their environments as they actually are. With that clarity, downstream processes moved faster; teams saw 70–90% time savings across vulnerability management, incident response, and compliance reporting.

That speed translated directly into value. The study found $2.1 million in savings on average through more efficient incident response investigations. In total, these gains contributed to a 156% ROI over three years.

With sharper visibility and context, you can focus on the work that drives impact. And throughout the year, our customers proved that firsthand. As Brian Wendland, Security Operations Engineer at Gerson Lehrman Group, put it: “Axonius is definitely one of the most-used tools for us right now. It saves time we can spend on other things. We get responses immediately. They’re one of the best vendors I’ve worked with.”

This is the era of actionability in practice. It’s the shift from identifying issues to fixing them, with asset intelligence at the center of every decision.

Looking ahead to 2026

As we look to the year ahead, our customers’ environments are only growing more complex. The rapid growth of connected assets—across IoT, OT, cloud, and now AI—is expanding the attack surface in new ways, allowing AI-driven adversaries to exploit lateral attack paths at machine speed.

Defending this environment takes more than traditional scanning. It requires an Exposure Assessment Platform (EAP) capable of bringing together telemetry from every asset class to create a unified system of record. Our focus is on delivering the verified ground truth that powers Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), giving security teams the confidence to detect and block these pathways before they’re exploited.

And when you filter out the noise to surface critical exposures, the efficiency gains are immediate. As highlighted in the SACR Market Guide, customers reported the ability to “focus on probably 5–10% of what we told remediators to worry about in the past.”

This is actionability in practice: operational precision in the face of expanding complexity.

From all of us at Axonius: thank you

To every customer we partnered with this year:

Thank you for your honesty, your challenging questions, and your ambition. Thank you for the ideas, the collaboration, and the trust you place in us. Thank you for showing what actionability looks like when teams have the truth in their data.

You bring our mission to life. Here’s to an even smarter, more actionable 2026.
