At $200M ARR, Axonius doubles down on verified truth

Joe Diamond

Nine years ago, three founders bet that cybersecurity’s most important problem wasn’t detecting threats. It was knowing what you have in your environment. That bet became Axonius. Today, I’m proud to share that Axonius has surpassed $200 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) while achieving 100% growth in two years. And I’m honored to be appointed as chief executive officer by the Axonius Board of Directors.
When reflecting on this milestone, I want to start by thanking Dean.
Dean Sysman, co-founder and executive chairman at Axonius, didn’t just build a company. He built a category. When asset intelligence didn’t have a name, Dean saw that every security decision starts with the same question: what do we actually have? He and his co-founders, Ofri Shur and Avidor Bartov, turned that insight into a platform that organizations now depend on. I’m looking forward to building on what Dean started. The foundation he laid is what makes everything ahead possible.
I’ve spent my career sitting across from security and IT leaders. The pattern I see is always the same: organizations with a trusted, reconciled understanding of their environment move faster, prioritize better, and recover more quickly. The ones still stitching spreadsheets together are falling further behind. AI is only widening that gap.
The idea at the center: verified truth
That gap is what organizational context was built to close. Not aggregation, but contextualization. Not another dashboard, but the foundation underneath every dashboard, every automation, and every AI agent that’s about to start making decisions on your behalf. The question isn’t whether those AI agents are coming. It’s whether they’ll be working from verified truth or faulty assumptions. We’re building for verified truth.
At the Adapt 2026 conference in New York City in April, I walked through a vision of self-healing environments, which is a continuous rhythm where you declare what good looks like, detect deviations, decide what matters, and deliver the fix. A year ago that might have sounded aspirational. With AI models now discovering and weaponizing vulnerabilities at machine speed, plus agentic AI spinning up identities and workflows faster than any team can track, self-healing is a baseline expectation. And it only works if the data underneath it is right.
The Axonius Asset Cloud correlates, normalizes, and enriches data from more than 1,400 Axonius Adapters and correlates every asset type (including security, software, SaaS, cloud, connected devices, and AI systems) into a single source of truth. Not as a vanity metric, but as the reason we can meet any organization wherever they are, in whatever stack they’ve built, and give them a single reconciled view their security and IT teams can trust.
Where it counts
We’re approaching 1,000 customers globally (including more than 100 of the Fortune 1000 and more than 90 U.S. federal agencies) that run on the Axonius Asset Cloud. What I hear consistently from these customers isn’t just that we give them visibility. It’s that we give them a common operating picture that their security and IT teams can actually share. When these security and IT teams are all working from the same reconciled view, remediation gets faster, ownership gets clearer, and the cross-functional coordination that everyone talks about but few achieve starts to happen.
The people
I want to acknowledge the Axonius team. Product and engineering, building the context engine. Customer success, in the trenches with practitioners every day. Go-to-market, earning trust in a market that has no shortage of noise. They are the Axonius advantage.
We don’t build this in a vacuum. We build it from the feedback of our customers, the strength of our partnerships, and the conviction of every Axonian who shows up and delivers.
What comes next
The AI models will change. The threats will evolve. Environments will get more complex, more distributed, and more autonomous. This is the new landscape.
What won’t change is what every security and IT team needs to act with confidence: verified truth about what they have, where it is, and what it means. As autonomous systems take on more operational responsibility, the demand for verified truth will only increase. We intend to be the market standard for asset intelligence and continuous threat exposure management (CTEM).
With $200M in ARR and the strongest team we’ve ever had, Axonius enters its next chapter ready to define it.
