This month, we’re spotlighting Director of Solutions Architecture Yoni Bulkin. Based in our Israel office, Yoni joined Axonius in November 2020.

Kaite Rosa: Tell us a bit about your career path before Axonius. What did you do? What critical moments got you to where you are today?

Yoni BulkinYoni Bulkin: I’ve always been fascinated by computers. I started programming when I was 11. By the age of 17, I already owned a software development company.

Then, I served in the Intelligence Unit in the Israel Defense Forces as an intelligence officer. After I got released, I became the CTO and co-founder of a startup that built CRM for marketing companies.

I’ve always been passionate about innovating solutions and solving problems.

Kaite: What about Axonius made you interested in working here?

Yoni: I was looking to join a company with outstandingly intelligent people that I would enjoy working with, and where I could express myself and my capabilities to the fullest. I wanted to find a place where I could evolve together with the company.

Today, I can say with great certainty that Axonius delivers on those needs in all aspects – challenge, great people, fascinating customers, and life-changing opportunities.

Kaite: What are some of the things that you or your team are responsible for?

Yoni: My team and I are accountable for solving complex technical problems like performance issues and scalability challenges.

We also provide technical support for complex and unknown problems.

Moreover, we’re creating processes to support the organization’s growth and building internal tools to help different teams across Axonius.

Kaite: What’s a favorite project you’ve worked on or career milestone you’ve achieved while working at Axonius?

Yoni: I was given the opportunity to work closely with our customers and to experience the product from their perspectives. I expanded their usage of Axonius within their organizations by understanding their specific use cases and goals.

I was able to do so by listening to their needs carefully and translating the capabilities of Axonius into a tailored product that fit those needs.

Kaite: What advice can you offer to someone looking to take on a role similar to yours?

Yoni: The challenges at Axonius are daily and unique. Where there are challenges, there are opportunities. If you’re looking for those things, I believe that this is the place to be.

Kaite: If someone reading was interested in joining Axonius, what should they know about working here?

Yoni: We’re driven, we make things happen, and we’re open to and excited by new ideas and innovations. We believe that we can change and build a great product.

Plus, there’s always someone intelligent and qualified to consult.
