What is Google Cloud Compliance?
Cloud compliance is the act of ensuring that an organization's cloud-based operations and services are compliant with applicable laws and regulations. It involves evaluating the cloud provider's systems and services for compliance with applicable rules and regulations, and implementing measures to ensure ongoing compliance.
According to Google, their cloud products “regularly undergo independent verification of their security, privacy, and compliance controls, achieving certifications, attestations, and audit reports to demonstrate compliance.”
Further, Google states that they’ve “also created resource documents and mappings for compliance support when formal certifications or attestations may not be required or applied.”
